Pilot privacy notice
Student Pathfinder uses the minimum information needed to match academic results to opportunities and provide requested guidance.
Academic matching
Teachers submit term results on behalf of their school. Term results are provisional until an authorised final-result verification process confirms them. Opportunity providers do not receive a student's identity through the matching process.
AI guidance
The career guide sends the goals, interests and messages a user intentionally enters to the configured Unnect model. AI screening sends a limited academic summary and selected opportunity context. AI does not determine formal eligibility and its advice may be wrong.
Consent and disclosure
Personal details must not be released to an opportunity provider without explicit student or guardian consent. Consent is recorded against the specific student and opportunity, and a student under 18 cannot self-consent: it must come from a registered guardian, or a school administrator witnessing in loco parentis. Authorised disclosures are queued as an immutable outbox record and exported only by an administrator for hand-off; there is no automatic transmission to providers in this pilot build.
Before a live pilot
Retention periods, government custody, access controls, correction rights and breach procedures must be agreed with the responsible Ministry and participating schools before real student data is introduced.
